Alejandro Propato (Buenos Aires, 1960)
Formed as an architect at Universidad de Buenos Aires, where he has also served as faculty member, he develops his artistic activity through large scale installations that interact with nature and its elements in both urban and rural landscapes.
He considers we can all become artists when we appreciate the beauty of life thanks to our extraordinary capacity to create metaphors, as the one used in the work "Permanent Sunrise" exhibited in public spaces in Argentina and Austalia.
Through the use of industrial materials such as iron and lawn mower lines, generate spaces for pause and encounter, where the disruptive operates as a playful trigger.
Alejandro lives and works in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
