Aurora Castillo (Buenos Aires, 1987)
Her work starting point is a research excercise in her studio space, with questioning as a constant practise.
She takes as a reference the relationships that occur simultaneously in the ground, where is the bind what defines the shape, in a non-linear geological time. A material activates the dialogue with another, briging up a particular surface related to the theme of the work, and at the same time with its surroundings, evidencing also its invisible part, the counterform.
Sculpture, painting and drawing are her mediums, for which she works simultaneously to attempt to dismantle reading and composition mandates.
She lives and works in Buenos Aires.
