Ignacia Ossandon (Santiago de Chile, 1990)
Bosquetro works with digital illustration as a main medium to deconstruct the female figure in the 21st century. Starting from a recollection of images, she creates a collage of women, both famous and anonimous, whom she transfigures with a particular style and a vibrant palette. Her images are nurtured by archetypes: the goddess, the lover, the warrior, the damsel, the priestess. She explores the savage female nature in onirical and surrealistic landscapes.
She complements her work with writing, using the strenght of words to boost her message.
She lives and works in Barcelona, Spain.
