Marta Pinilla

Marta Pinilla (Soria, Spain, 1980)

Marta is a multidisciplinary artist graduated in Biology and Fine Arts with a Masters in Art and Science.

Her artistic practice seeks to represent the brain and the universe from both an emotional and a scientific perspective, joining the micro and the macro cosmos.

​

Departing from drawing to reach installation, sculpture, and performance her pieces mimic natural structures, from cellular composition to the structure of neurons and tissues.

Marta lives and works in Madrid, Spain.
