Sol del Rio

Sol del Rio (Buenos Aires, 1981)

Sol researches the interface as a visual landscape, the temporospatial simultaneity and the intersection between nature and technology.

She uses different mediums and softwares working with sound, animation, painting and performance. She mixes and sings her music with videos from her own production (Live A/V).

​

Her plastic work is inspired by the digital universe she produces, translated to the pictorial, going back to the matter, generating new landscapes and geometrical forms over canvas and paper, experimenting with different scales and production schemes through muralism and urban art.

Sol lives and works in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
